My Skincare Favourites

Today I am going to share with you my skincare favourites. In a previous post, I shared with you my winter skincare tips to keep you glowing through the party season. I had lots of messages about my skin and what I actually use so here goes…

When it comes to skincare I love to try lots of different products. I am not a girl who will stick with one brand. Therefore below you will find the ones I am loving right now, most I have used for some time and can fully recommend to you.

Favourite skincare products

ESPA 24 Hour Replenishing Cream

My skincare favourites winner… I have used this cream for at least three years… in the interim, I have tried others but I always come back to this miracle cream. Claiming to diminish early signs of ageing, it is richly hydrating and what’s more, it smells DIVINE!

Medik8 Surface Radiance Cleanse

A refreshing daily cleanser formulated with mild AHAs that I have been using for over a year now. It is gel-based and you use it like you would a facewash. With some facewashes, I feel the need to cleanse or use a toner after… not this one. Leaving your skin completely fresh and not dry!

Tea Tree Water From Lush

I tried this after it was highly recommended online for keeping breakouts at bay. It has definitely helped my skin in particular around the time of the month. I like to use it in the morning when I wake up to refresh my skin. It is now a staple in my daily skincare routine.

VitaminSea Beauty Sea Salt Coconut Face Scrub

I picked this up in TK Maxx… you know that treasure trove of a place! (seriously love it… you never know what you might find!) It lured me in with its promise of being gentle and brightening… and it is! It is made in the USA so if you are UK based may be trickier to get but you can check out their website here.

Clarins SOS Comfort Nourishing Balm Mask

This was a gift last Christmas and it is still going strong. It has a long eighteen-month date on it too. I use it typically once a week when my skin needs that extra moisture boost. It guarantees I will wake up with soft supple radiant skin.

Elizabeth Arden Eye Cream

I have always been a big fan of Elizabeth Arden products after trying her eight hour cream nearly 20 years ago. This little pot of eye cream goes on like a dream and leaves my under eye area well moisturised and what’s more, it looks fine under make-up too! Rich in vitamin E extract it claims to diminish the look of fine lines, puffiness and under-eye circles. SOLD!

Dermalogica Prisma Protect

I have been using this since summer and hallelujah I have finally found a perfect everyday sunscreen. It is non-greasy, goes on like a dream and bonus it works as a perfect primer thanks to light-activated technology! SPF30 yet ultra sheer (no pasty sunscreen look with this bad boy!) and it protects against pollution… Dermalogica take a bow!

Decleor Aromessence Mandarin Verte

Okay so this is my latest skincare favourite… a trip to the spa provided me with lots of samples and this was one of them. It is AMAZING!! 100% natural with citrus essential oils it makes my skin look so dewy and bright. Once the samples ran out I went two days before missing it and had to make the splurge! Totally worth it though.

So there we have it my skincare favourites… if you try any of these you won’t be disappointed! If you have any favourites you would like to recommend to me, let me know in the comments… I love trying new products!

Rachael 🙂 x
